Gary Griffith is Automation and Electrical Manager at ADM. Griffith has more than 30 years of top-level experience in electrical power distribution systems. His areas of expertise include 345 kV and below, Switch Gear, motor control centers, industrial electrical control systems (PLC's, DCS, and instrumentation). He is experienced in electrical construction and maintenance, electrical design and engineering, and all phases project management.

Lee McClish is a former US Navy Commanding Officer, responsible for two Navy Reserve units. He is now reliability engineer at RagingWire Data Centers and is a subject matter expert on Total Productive Maintenance. In his career he has transformed two manufacturing maintenance departments from "ground zero" to "world class." He is an employee development expert and accomplished project manager.

Dan Smith joined the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA) in September 2019 as the Vice President of Transmission System Operations where he leads the Operations, SCADA EMS, and System Control teams for the second largest transmission company in Texas. Prior to joining LCRA, he was the Vice President of Electric Service Delivery with Austin Energy responsible for leading the Transmission and Distribution business unit. At Austin Energy he also served as the Director of Smart Grid & System Operations, the Director of Transmission & Substation, and the Engineering Manager of Substation and Relay Engineering. Prior to joining Austin Energy, Dan worked for Advanced Micro Devices in Austin, Texas and Dresden, Germany leading Site Electrical & Mechanical Engineering.

Allan Rienstra is the director of business development for SDT International, a Brussels based manufacturer of ultrasound solutions comprised of hardware, software, training, and consulting. A 27-year commitment to ultrasound applications has seen Rienstra play a leading role in the deployment of ultrasound-based solutions across five continents. He is the co-author of “Hear More, A Guide to Using Ultrasound for Leak Detection and Condition Monitoring.”

CENTER FOR ELECROMECHANICS

Shannon Strank has 13 years of experience as a mechanical engineer and she is the Assistant Director of the Center for Electromechanics at the University of Texas at Austin. She has participated in research at the University of Texas Center for Electromechanics (UT-CEM) for the past 7 years. Her early research responsibilities were primarily focused on dynamic simulation of electro-mechanical systems for the DOD, Ms. Strank was often the architect of the dynamic simulation model representations of a system or subsystem for testing purposes. Building simulation models provided her with exposure to application across numerous fields, including aviation, agriculture, defense, transportation, and more. As assistant director, she manages communication of CEM’s accomplishments.

Tony Dotson is Division Reliability Manager at Westrock Paper, and is focused on reliability-based work systems and disciplined manufacturing best practices. He is a leader with a passion for reliability-based work systems and disciplined manufacturing best practices. He has championed several culture change experiences in his career, resulting in significant improvements to the plant's performance. He enjoys helping people have the processes and tools to safely perform at their best.

Roy Huff is Vice President of The Snell Group. Huff is recognized as a leading expert in the application of both infrared (IR) and electric motor testing (EMT) technologies. He is a partner in the inspections services company specializing in auditing, mentoring and consulting services for a broad range of industries. Additionally, he serves as New Product Development Manager and Instructor, and regularly speaks at conferences and meetings as an authority in the field.

Martin Robinson is the founder, owner, and CEO of IRISS Inc., a leading manufacturer of infrared inspection windows. Robinson focuses on innovation and is a pioneer of Electrical Maintenance Safety Devices (EMSDs) that help protect technicians from harm while protecting their companies’ bottom line. He holds several patents for condition based maintenance devices and haa designed multiple maintenance programs that include infrared, ultrasound, partial discharge testing, non-destructive esting (NDT) and energy management strategies. He holds a NEBOSH certificate in Occupational Safety and Health, an IAM Certificate in Asset Management, is a certified Level III Thermographer, a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) and a Certified Reliability Leader (CRL). He is a member of IEEE, NFPA and is a standing member on the technical committee CSA Z463 guidelines on maintenance of electrical systems.

MOBIUS INSTITUTE

Jason Tranter is the founder of Mobius Institute and is the inventor, designer and master developer of Mobius Institute product offerings. He has been involved with condition monitoring and vibration analysis since 1984. In 1986 Jason formed his Australian company, ARGO, which was heavily involved in vibration monitoring and systems development. In 1990 he sold that company and the “ALERT” product line to DLI Engineering in Seattle (now AzimaDLI). Jason was in charge of product development, and later in charge of vibration products. In 1996 Jason returned to Australia and for the next three years he developed the ExpertALERT (EAV), DCX data collector, and DCX Online products for DLI Engineering. In 1999 Jason formed Mobius and began the development of the iLearnInteractive series of computer-based products for vibration and alignment training and analysis, including iLearnVibration, iLearnAlignment and Interpreter. In 2005 he formed the “Mobius Institute” for expanded distance learning and public courses, and courses that comply with ISO and ASNT standards for certification. In 2010 Jason formed the Mobius Institute Board of Certification, a not-for-profit organization to make it possible for vibration analysts anywhere in the world to achieve certification per ISO 18436-1.
