COMMITTEES
One of the most important features of the EPRA alliance management systems (AMS) is the ability to build and share within a defined community. We will use the following committees/working groups to organize around subjects that will bring value to practitioner members. The following Working Groups are being launched as part of deepening the engagement with our practitioners.
Accreditation & Certification (A&C) Working Group
Martin Robinson Chair, Larry Bryant Co-Chair
EPRA Staff Liaison – Alan Ross
Purpose:
In the first half of 2021, develop the overall standard for an Industrial or Commercial Accredited site, in order to create a framework for the practitioner to follow as they implement a Critical Electric System reliability program. This process will lead to a site being “Accredited” by EPRA as an Accredited Electric Reliability facility.
In the second half of 2021, lay the foundation for the Certification program for individual practitioners as Certified Electric Reliability Professionals (CERP) which will be announced and launched at the Annual EPRS in September with the roll out by 1.1.2022.
